In a ghastly incident, a teenage student from Faisalabad was assaulted, sexually harassed and forced to lick shoes for refusing the marriage proposal of her friend’s father.
A viral video of the abuse that took place on August 9, surfaced Wednesday morning and showed the girl being tortured by a group of men while another woman’s voice can also be heard in the background.

The group made the victim lick shoes, her hair was chopped and eyebrows shaved.

The victim said that her friend’s father, a factory owner, was forcing her to marry him but when she refused, she was abused, harassed and filmed. She added that her friend also encouraged her to accept the proposal.
While raids are being conducted to arrest another accused namely Ana Ali, Faisalabad City Police Officer (CPO) Umar Saeed has assured the victim and her family of bringing all culprits to justice.
